Art Out of the Closet Sale

Art Out of the Closet supports the recycling and upcycling of art, art supplies and other arts-related items. Funds raised through the sale of donated items benefit the arts and cultural programming offered at the historic Court House Cultural Center. Donations are accepted year-round, spacing permitting. If you have something in your closet and want to give it away for a good cause, consider making a donation to Art Out of the Closet!
In advance, we are accepting donations on March TBD between 10AM and 2PM or by appointment.

All donated items and artwork to be accepted should meet the following criteria:
- Clean and Presentable: Items should be free of dust, dirt, mold, and any other debris. Please wipe down surfaces and ensure they are in good condition before donating.
- No Significant Damage: Donations should not have major tears, cracks, missing pieces, or structural damage that would make them unsafe, unusable, or unsellable.
- Condition of Artworks, Books, & Paper Items: Original artwork, prints, and photographs should not have excessive fading, water damage, or large stains. Minor wear is acceptable, but pieces should be presentable.
- Musical Instruments: Instruments should be in playable or easily repairable condition. They should not be missing critical parts unless disclosed as a restoration project.
- Art Supplies: Partially used supplies are accepted if they are still functional (i.e. — no dried-out paints, broken pencils, or empty markers.)
- Home Décor & Sculptural Pieces: No major cracks, missing parts, or unstable bases.

- New and gently used art supplies
