MartinArts Awards
Celebrating over 20 years of outstanding artistic achievement, the MartinArts Awards have been a signature event of MartinArts honoring artistic, voluntary, and philanthropic achievement in Martin County, which inspires a passion for and participation in the arts in our community. Awards are given in two basic categories: Honorary and Nominated. View past award recipients HERE.
Who can be nominated?
Professional Nominations: Literary Artist, Performing Artist, and Visual Artist. Professional nominees must either be a Martin County resident or do the majority of their artistic work in the Martin County area. Student Nominations: Literary Artist, Performing Artist, and Visual Artist. Student nominees must be a Martin County resident in their senior year of high school for the 2024-2025 school year. A Scholarship will be given to the recipient in each student category. All Student Nominees will be required to be interviewed by our Judges at a date to be announced.
What happens after nominations are received?
Nominees are notified of their nomination and asked to submit a profile that describes their passion, engagement, dedication to the arts, their involvement in the community, as well as submit samples of their artwork or performances. Student Nominees are required to be interviewed by a panel of judges (past recipients, board members, professional artists, or community members). An anonymous panel will review the nominations and select the award recipients.
