Eva Slonin
I love to play piano, flute, piccolo, keyboard, synthesizer, crash cymbals, tambourine, congas, vibraphone. I am a student at South Fork High School. I play in the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony, in Marching Band, and in Jazz Band. This past year I played a solo part in the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony’s presentation of Bizet’s Carmen Suite #1. I asked for a role for a student on the TCYS Board responsible for the orchestra and it was granted. I was appointed to be the first student on the Board. I was able to make suggestions that opened up to the Board members the importance of having the insights of those playing in TCYS. In college I would like to minor in music while pursuing a profession education to become an orthodontist. During my adult years I would like to participate in playing music and being part of an Arts Council.
