Hudson Graze

Hudson Graze

I was born into a military family, and growing up we followed my dad from place to place while he served our country. This took a severe toll on young me, always shifting schools, environments, people, and development.  I reluctantly signed up for band following in the footsteps of my two brothers who had been the only constants in my ever-changing life. This decision turned out to be the one that would completely reshape my life. Initially I lacked musical talent, but I noticed a direct correlation between practice and improvement. This realization led to countless hours of practice, eventually taking me from last chair to first, from third part to soloist, and earning the Woody Herman Jazz Award at Stuart Middle School. Through the arts I also rediscovered my social life. My passion for the arts stems from a combination of self-expression, connection with others, and the joy of helping others.  College holds a myriad of opportunities for my passion in music. Hudson is a saxophone player at Jensen Beach High School.
