Myriana Merkovic
The daughter of a philosophical Yugoslav father and an artistic Dutch mother, I was born and raised in Africa, educated in Europe, and emigrated to the United States at age 26. My journey across three continents instilled in me a love of cultures and enlightened me about the richness of people and arts. It also showed me that when we open our minds and hearts, we find affinity with all, and beauty in everything. After a 35-year career in the medical field, I now write full-time. My novels are emotional and bring about important social issues: family relationships, life and death, the power within, and our symbiotic fusion with nature. I am currently writing my fourth book.
