Summer Apruzzese

Summer Apruzzese

"Art is so ingrained in my daily life, I honestly have no idea what my life would be like without art. Being able to look at a pile of literal garbage, see the potential for something more, and have the ability to give it a new life is a truly wonderful ability.  I spend a lot of time teaching people how to do art, to get started creating, or get back to doing what artistic things they love. Whether it's giving advice and pep talks on how to trust a process or teaching how shadows and dimensions work; teaching people to create and howto trust themselves with art is a huge part of my life. How do my future plans include the arts? I've already gone to trade school for a career as a jeweler. I will work with fine details to create and repair beautiful, meaningful, and functional art pieces. It will allow me to make a work schedule with time and resources to continue to create my art on the side. I hope to one day open a jewelry/antique store where I can sell any art I make, and help others make and sell things they're passionate about as well.” Summer is a student at Clark Advanced Learning Center.
