Julia Aleszcyk, Park Curator | HSJAS 2005
Julia currently works as a Park Curator at Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. Julia's prior experience included working as a Museum Technician who specialized in the identification and analysis of prehistoric and historic artifacts from the southeastern US working for the Southeast Archeological Center (a unit of the National Park Service), and recently earned her Master’s degree in Palaeopathology from Durham University (UK). She has a background in art, archeology and human osteology, and has interned at MartinArts (Stuart, FL) and the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Prior to her work at the Southeast Archeological Center, Julia assisted with the recovery and identification of human remains from the World Trade Center site.
