I wanted to find a creative hobby to while away my time after I retired, something that I would enjoy but could also could share with others. I took up painting and it has become a passion mine. I found that I gravitated towards detailed realism. I love the intensity of painting very detailed works. Lately I have been branching out to try my hand at abstract which I find challenging. I love painting historic buildings but also enjoy painting floral and scenic works. I use mixed media but mostly I use acrylic.
