Each emotion, sound, and smell all have a color. Without thought, my mind assigns colors to experiences. When I close my eyes and smell the waves rolling in off the beach, my mind is bursting with colors that swirl. Then when I hear a wave crash, more colors burst through and evolve. I’m not just painting what I see in my head, I’m capturing the unique colors that my brain is connecting with the world around me. These paintings aren’t just a window into my mind, they’re an attempt to capture the beauty of the fleeting moment.
