Using nature as a mirror to reflect the intricate nuances of our existence, beauty emerges from imperfections and harmony resides in diversity. My watercolor and oil paintings celebrate the beauty of creation and everything coastal. From a nostalgic scene from a day at the beach to emphasizing the colors and patterns of specific subjects, such as light bouncing off the ocean surface or the wet sand, the breaking waves, the patterns and shapes of seashell fragments. My paintings capture the emotional and sensory qualities of the coast. They express a healing and calmness from the flow and rhythm of nature.
