Kimberly Hogan
I am Kim Hogan. I have been blessed to be a lifelong resident of Hobe Sound. I am 43 years old and live in my family home, built by my grandparents. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a wife to Burt Hogan , and a mother to three teenagers.
I have always been an artist, with a heart to create since I was very young. I sought out classes of creativity wherever I could. All through highschool I constantly took art classes and even in college, though it wasn't my major. However my love for the arts and desire to create never waned.
When my relationship with God began. the art I created came into focus. I began creating from a place of personal intimacy with God. As I would spend time with Him; my imagination got sparked by His Spirit. The art I create now is to reveal God; the depth of His character. To draw people in to a greater understanding of who He is. I love to paint with vibrant colors and fantastical images.
In addition, I also paint family portraits, pet portraits, jean jackets, and I'm working on some furniture pieces. I do lead paint parties as well and have taught art at Sonshine Christian academy.
My desire for art is to truly make an impact in society. To release healing, freedom and greater depths of love to those who view it.
They say, "A picture is worth a thousand words..How much more when the picture is from the Lord?"
