Maria Delucia is principal and owner of Square One Studios … a multi-disciplinary way for her to create, curate and cultivate art, graphics, interior design and decor for all types of spaces, collections and budgets…
Currently living and working in Stuart, Florida. She has been an artist/designer/stylist for over 35 years. During this time she honed her skills at visual merchandising, photo styling, interior design, graphic design, Painting, Watercolor, etc… Dividing her time between working and teaching Design for 5+ years at her Alma Mater, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also holds a BFA, Painting from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
Merging art + design in a transformative way, making sure that her creative disciplines inform and inspire each other. Her body of work focuses on the abstraction of her inner life, using many different 2d and 3d mediums to express the often chaotic and meaningful details we may miss everyday. She hopes to engage the viewer to interpret and translate the pieces as it relates to their life. Creating an instant connection in a visual language that is ever evolving.
