My journey as an artist has been profoundly shaped by my personal experiences and challenges. For 20 years, I lived in silence, unable to hear the world around me. During this time, painting became my voice, my therapy, and my way of connecting with others. Each brushstroke was a word, each color a sentence, and each texture a story.
After receiving a cochlear implant, I regained my hearing and with it, a renewed sense of purpose and confidence. This transformation allowed me to further explore and refine my artistic skills. My work is a blend of Contemporary Impressionism Realism, where I merge elements of sculpture, realism, and abstract art to create textured, mixed media pieces that invite touch and evoke emotion.
One of the most inspiring moments in my career was when a deaf and blind man felt one of my paintings and recognized the subject without being told. This experience deepened my passion for texture and the tactile nature of art. I strive to create pieces that not only please the eye but also engage the senses and tell a story that transcends words.
Today, I continue to share my knowledge and passion for art through commissioned works and art lessons for my community. My art is a testament to resilience, transformation, and the power of creativity to overcome adversity.
