Robert Rose
Schooled and professionally trained as an architect, Robert Rose's art work incorporates both the bold impactful quality of the ruled line as well as the freehand line's power to erouse thoughts of illusory forms and figures; making use of quasi-perspective and foreshortening to bring a transcendental quality to his hand drawings and etchings.
Robert Rose earned his Master's of Architecture from Pratt Institute in 1988. He has taught Architectural History, Architectural Design and Architectural Drawing at Broward College. After retiring 3 years ago, Mr. Rose has taught himself printmaking (and has broken many of its long held beliefs in the process). Mr. Rose plays guitar and has his own rock and roll band. Mr. Rose's is exhuberantly passionate for God, his family and the visual arts.
