Stuart Heritage Museum
The Stuart Heritage Museum is located in the second oldest commercial building in Stuart and Martin County and is operated by Stuart Heritage, Inc. The building, built by George W. Parks in 1901, was one of four structures along the original Railroad Avenue (now re-named Flagler Avenue). The "Feed Store" as it's known around town, was in continuous service from 1901 until 1986, when the building was purchased by the City of Stuart. The Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. (From Memorial Day until Labor Day, we are closed on Mondays), but you'll find us open on Sundays while the Green Market operates next door at City Hall.
